The Minnesota Twins have announced some of the details surrounding the upcoming release of their 2024 Nike MLB City Connect uniform.

The new uniform will be unveiled on Monday, June 10, during a special event at Target Plaza outside Target Field. The unveiling kicks off the Twins’ “City Connect Launch Week,” which leads up to the uniform’s on-field debut, back-to-back games on June 14 and 15 against the Oakland Athletics.

A Tweet by the club earlier today showed nothing but the waves of a body of water, perhaps a sneak peek at the uniform’s theme. It’s worth noting that one of Minnesota’s nicknames is the “Land of 10,000 Lakes,” so that could be something to keep an eye on.

The celebration begins at 10:00 a.m. CT on June 10, with fans getting the first chance to purchase the new jersey, cap, and apparel collection. The event will include live art and music, a complimentary ballpark lunch while supplies last, and an appearance by Twins mascot T.C. The day’s festivities will continue until that evening’s game against the Colorado Rockies, with gates opening at 5:30 p.m. for photo opportunities with current Twins players before the 6:40 p.m. first pitch.

The Twins will wear the City Connect uniform for the first time on Friday, June 14, at 7:10 p.m. and again on Saturday, June 15, at 1:10 p.m., both against the Oakland Athletics. Of note, the June 14 game features a free postgame concert by Flo Rida.

In conjunction with the unveiling, fans can also visit a special City Connect area at the Stone Arch Bridge Festival on June 15 and 16. Located beneath the west side of the Hennepin Avenue Bridge in Minneapolis, this area will offer a variety of fun activities.

The Minnesota Twins are the latest team to join MLB’s City Connect series, which aims to celebrate the unique culture and history of each team’s home city through innovative uniform designs. With the Twins’ reveal, only the Los Angeles Dodgers remain to unveil their City Connect uniforms for the 2024 season.
